Kute-BlacksonToday’s guest post is from my friend, Kute Blackson. As one of our Inspirational Luminaries, this man always makes me think and always opens my heart. His video Love Now gives me chills, and I’ve seen it dozens of times!

Please read what he sent me this morning and tell me what you think. Comments are welcome below, thank you!

“What YOU are never Changes.”

Change is a constant part of life, and life is continually changing all the time. This is one thing that doesn’t change. When you remember this, you realize that everything will pass. All experiences will pass, even the worst ones.

Yet we sometimes forget, thinking that the tough situations we are going through will last forever. And as a result we suffer.

When you fully embrace the changing nature of life, it frees you up to not take each passing event, thought, emotion, or happening so seriously. Everything will pass, except that which is real.

So experience your experience fully in the moment while not holding onto it. Embrace your joy, or happiness without holding on to it. Experience your pain, or sadness without resisting it.

This too shall pass.

Especially in these times, amidst the constant change of life, there is a Changeless core that is the ground of your Being. As you become still, you realize that what you REALLY are never changes-Your real Self. This frees you up to be able to deal with change. It frees you up to embrace change with open arms and dance with it.

Dare to live with your heart wide open, and soul smiling. Personality, beliefs, identities, all change. Cars, homes, relationships, body size, and bank balance, all change.

Ultimately you are none of these.

Remember- what you really are is changeless. As you realize this, you are then more able to dance with each moment and to improvise in the play of life with Grace.

You are then able to change with change, whilst never changing at all.

P.S. Thanks Gail for sharing this wonderful message with us!

  2. The word I took away from your post besides LOVE, of course, is: EMBRACE.

That which we resist, persists. And by resisting we’re operating from FEAR. We embrace out of LOVE.

Great post, off to check out your music!!
