CONGRATULATIONS to our Vitamix Winner!

Topics: , ,
  • About two weeks ago I posted a blog offering a chance to win a Vitamix. I asked that people send in the entry an complete the sentence-“I want to win a Vitamix because….”. Little did I know that we’d be swamped with responses, each one pulling at my heartstrings. I had no idea the need would be so great, the stories so sincere and the decision practically impossible to make.

I was supposed to announce the winner in this blog post earlier this week, but our team kept going back and forth between several finalists. Then we reached out to actually talk with the finalists. From sick children to nourishing aging parents, from wanting to give it to a friend in need to serving a community…there are so many noble causes. Your stories were real, authentic and moving.

My sincere apologies to those of you who have patiently waited for this blog. Just now, after re-reading all of the entries one more time, we’ve agreed on our decision.

Congratulations to Stephanie and her son…..

“As the Mom of a child with food allergies we have had a rough road feeding our 3 year old son. He is allergic to the Top 8 foods and a few others. We recently have found out he also has Celiacs disease. This has thrown us for another loop. We cannot use commercially prepared breads and flours because they are often cross contaminated with nuts. I would love to be able to provide our amazing son with safe and good food! A Vitamix would allow us to expand his options and grow his love of real food!

To all the rest of you with excellent reasons for wanting and needing a Vitamix, you might check into the refurbished Vitamix units, available on the Vitamix website. All units- both new and refurbished- come with the incredible Vitamix 7-year warranty!

Congratulations again to Stephanie! Thank you to everyone who submitted an entry. (I wish I had hundreds of these to give away to you.)

I can tell you this…. owning a Vitamix is an investment in your health and one that I wholeheartedly recommend!
