Here are six keys to achieving more love and happiness in your life.

Know the phrase “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all”? Compliment people on their strengths and where they are succeeding in life. There are plenty of people who are telling someone that they have faults, but how many people are telling them something positive?

Be optimistic. The realistic 0optimist is the person who knows that there will be trials to face, but that in the end we will somehow make it through.

Hearts

Remember how to be funny, even silly. Can you remember the last time you laughed so hard you cried? If you can’t, then it’s been too long. You can learn some jokes and tell them to your friends or watch a comedy show on TV. I bet you will be surprised by the reaction you get from those around you, not to mention how great it will make you feel.

Be generous with people by giving a bit of yourself away. You could give a little extra when you tip the waitress if she provided good service or you could pay for the person behind you in line when they get their coffee. You can even give hugs away and do it like every one you give is one that you’ve been paid for.

Live in the moment. Put simply, stop worrying about what tomorrow will bring and focus on today.

Love deeply. This includes not only your spouse and children, but your neighbors, coworkers and friends. This is the most important key to happiness.

Happiness is an inside job®.
