Each day, with every action or inaction, whether intentional or not, we change the world around us. With every smile or grouchy comment, we affect others and as they pass it on, we change the world around us.

We’ve all heard the expression that we’re all one, and what we reap we sow, yet sometimes they sound like just expressions and we lose the meaning behind the words. But, when you go a level deeper, it’s so obvious that everything we do affects those around us.

If we’re snippy to the woman at the coffee shop, we affect her day in a negative way. She then passes along our negative energy and grouchy disposition to her next customer, until someone chooses to break the chain.

Fortunately, we also have the power to influence for good. Imagine walking into your local coffee shop with a smile and a kind, giving attitude. Be present and actually communicate with those around you. They will feel validated, cared for and happy and will pass THAT attitude on to those they meet throughout the day.

People WANT to be around those who behave in such a positive way. We feel good being in their presence, and many times, their behavior affects our attitude.

We create ripples by just being alive.

If we could follow the goodness we create with our happy, positive, upbeat attitude, it would be interesting to track the levels. For example, if we’re kind to the woman at the coffee shop, she’s then super sweet to the next customer who walked in having a bad day. Instead of that customer leaving and continuing with their bad day, they now take some love with them to share with their next interaction.  And so it goes, on and on, around the world.

With just one kind interaction, we have the potential of affecting literally thousands of people each day.

When we’re conscious of the impact that we have on one another, we behave differently. If you think about it, knowing that your next interaction will be passed on the thousands of people today, aren’t you inspired to make sure that it’s a positive one?

You hold the power in your hands to change the world. So please, for the sake of all of us, let’s smile, be kind and make sure that we treat each other with love and respect, creating happy ripples throughout the world.

So go forth into your day today and be the stone tossed into the lake, creating happy ripples wherever you go. And, know that it’s appreciate by all of us.

Wonderful thank you and my blessings.
