Be Happy, Living Inspired Daily

If I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I'd want to pass along to others...

  • How many lives do we get in this world? The answer is ONE. This is one of life’s facts that we cannot add more time than we have. However, we can make the most of the time we’ve got and that is what can bring us happiness.

Millions of people spend their lives searching for happiness when all the time it is right in front of them. Finding joy in the little things may seem rather trite at times, but true happiness is not a place or a time, but a state of being. If you cannot enjoy the little things, then you have yet to find happiness. Here are a few tips to help you create the life you want in order to find real happiness.

Know What You Need to Do

It’s rather difficult to say “pursue the things in life you want” because everyone wants everything. Of course we want to travel the world, see the beautiful sights, make millions of dollars, live in huge mansions and be surrounding by interesting events all the time. And yet people go without those things their whole lives and are still happy.

It is denying what you need to do that helps keep you unhappy. Michelangelo was arguably the greatest artist who ever lived and he painted and sculpted almost voraciously during his lifetime. By all accounts, he didn’t seem like a happy person except when he was working, because that is what he needed to do. All of us have things we need to accomplish, so find out what it is and then get to it.

    Understand What is Important

In pursuing our goals we often lose sight of the objective and wind up in a place that could have been avoided. When creating your life, remember the things that are important to you and sacrifice the rest so that you can reach your goals without leaving what’s important behind.

Sacrifice is actually an important part of living as we must do away with the things that might be nice, even pleasurable from time to time in order to really be happy. Take the time to make a list of what really matters to you and keep it close because everything else may need to go for you to really be happy.

    One Life, Many Chances

There are second chances in life and so if we fail, we can always try again. In fact, people fail all the time only to get back up and keep trying. Never stop trying when it comes to pursuing your dreams of happiness. There are always second chances and more when you work toward making your dreams come true.

Life is too short to waste, yet it is long enough to make your goal of being happy come true. Take control of your life so that you can get the most out of it. Being happy is a state of mind where you are living your dreams.
