You have unlimited choices and potentials in your life. So, when you face a “crisis,” take it as an opportunity to grow and it will take you to the next level of abundance.

In the Chinese and Japanese languages, the word “Crisis” is written with two words: Danger and Opportunity.

As the Principle of Yin and Yang teaches us, everything has two opposing facets: Negative and Positive, or Good and Bad. And it is up to you to focus on Negative or Positive aspect of life.

In other words, the crisis (or issue or problem) that you are facing right now, can be negative or positive, depending on how you take it. And today you are what you are and who you are, because all of the choices you have made so far did manifest in your life.

You have unlimited potentials and choices.

If you make the choice to take the crisis as “Danger” with fear, anxiety, helpless, and feeling you lose control, just like a wild fire, it will spread all over your body, mind and life and will quickly burn you down.

In contrast, if you make the choice to take the crisis as “Opportunity” with passion, curiosity, hope, and feeling you take the control; it will become a powerful vehicle that will take you to the new horizon that you have never seen.

This is Mental Feng Shui. Feng Shui is not just re-arranging your furniture, but it is all about Shifting Your Mind.

The abundance is out there within your reach. And you can start receiving the abundance when you shift your mindset to abundance. The abundance will find you when you release your old, stagnant energy.

So, all you have to do is to do your best, and let go of any negative stagnant energy and emotions.

You see, all the successful people in the World have gone through this. They are successful because they have exercised their unlimited choices and potentials for “Opportunity” when they faced the “Crisis.” To them, the crisis was an opportunity to learn the patience, appreciation, and life reinvention.

Fortunately, you don’t always have to face life-threatening crises like me to exercise your unlimited choices and potentials. However, believe or not, you ARE always making choices, every minute and every second, in your everyday life. For example, even at this very moment, you have unlimited choices: to smile or cry, to get inspired or cynical, to speak a kind word or a mean word, to encourage people or to hurt people, etc.

And the accumulation of these small choices has made up what you are and who you are. If you like what you are and who you are, then continue making the same choices that you have been doing. However, if you are not 100% happy with what you are and who you are today, then change your choices that will change your potentials.

Remember, you were born to Earth with internal power already inside you to change everything from “Danger” to “Opportunity.”

Happy people are those who have decided to be happy…

  1. Grace, loved your description of crisis as the two opposing forces-opportunity and danger. I have used a similar approach in my work by using the term, “challenging opportunity”: in lieu of just challenge, difficulty or hardship. Thanks for sharing your Brilliance. Take care…Enjoy…Be well… Jim

  2. Just what I needed today for inspiration. Mental Feng Shui will now be part of my being. Arigato, Grace-san!
