At age eighteen Grace has truly lived a full life. Born and raised in the red light district of her home town Leeds, UK, Grace grew up in a home that doubled as a rehabilitation center for ex drug addicts and ex prostitutes. This rehab center was run by her parents Les and Wendy Hatton who had been inner city ministers for over 15 years. At the age of 12 Grace’s parents made the decision to make a better life for themselves and move to the United States.
The immigration process due to the aftermath of September 11th was a hard one but finally in 2007 Grace and her family received their green cards! Grace taught in the schools, teaching English and talking to girls her own age about the value of purity. In the squatter camps Grace worked with her team to build shacks, run kids programs, provide clean clothing and food for those in need. Grace plans to go on many more missions.
Grace has been featured on numerous radio shows and was recently featured in Women of Wisdom Performance Magazine along side Michelle Obama. “The Guys The Roses & The Regrets” is Grace’s first book to be published but it as already received wide acclaim, endorsed by Mark Victor Hansen (Chicken Soup for the Soul) “The Guys The Roses & The Regrets” soared to number #31 on Amazons Top 100 bestseller list.
