For over 14 years Lena has dedicated her life to helping others. Mentoring has become second nature to her, something she takes great pride in.
Growing up in the city of Camden, NJ has afforded her years of life experience; she is known to be wise beyond her years. Lena graduated with honors from Kean University with a degree in Media Communications. While in school she obtained an internship with CBS and later a full-time position at Inside Edition.
After losing a close friend to drug addiction, her passion for helping women became so strong she decided to start her own women’s empowerment company, You’re Beautiful Honie. Her goal is to help women achieve their highest potential for wellness, through the healing of their mind, body, and soul.
She then went on to obtain her Masters degree in Human Services Counseling. After witnessing such phenomenal transformation in the lives of women, Lena decided to leave the 9 to 5 world to pursue entrepreneurship. She believes serving others is her life’s purpose. Lena has worked with the U.S. Army, Boys & Girls Clubs, Head Ladies In Charge, S.O.F.I.A., Project Beautiful You, Zeta Phi Beta, Women’s Rights Information Centers, and many others.
