I am passionate about helping people create better relationships with themselves. I once asked an audience to write love letters. “Make them gush with adoration and affection!” I told them, and then added this: “Write the letter to yourself.” There was almost an audible gasp. I didn’t read them, but as people left, an older woman in tears told me she couldn’t come up with one thing. I was deeply saddened imagining what this state of inner desolation was creating in her outer experience. You see, life is an inside-out game. Our relationship with ourselves influences everything. How well we… Read more.
Welcome back. I trust that you have explored holding the energy of Ease and that you’re finding it serves your feelings of happiness to do so. Let’s continue with how being in Ease helps you experience Peace. Ease is the surface layer of this deeper inner state. Peace is your State of Being beyond resistance. A place we all strive to get, and yet, there’s only one place to go to arrive there. Peace is within the Essence of you, the inner state of allowing and trust, the space of unequivocal knowing that everything is exquisitely right, that all is… Read more.
I’m sure this sounds like bizarre advice, and you’re itching to know what happiness has to do with peas and grapes. It came from one of my favorite mantras… A friend overheard me quietly saying it one day, and she thought I said “Eat peas and grapes.” It never occurred to me that what I was saying might sound like that. I laughed as I thought it about it for a moment. I do love eating that’s for sure. In fact, it’s probably one of my all-time favorite things to do. It’s not the chewing and swallowing part of eating,… Read more.
I watched with great interest the various shows commemorating of the 50th Anniversary of the assassination of our 35th President, John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Having only been 2 years old at the time, I’m a little fascinated that it feels like it means so much to me. I’m sure it has to do with the impact on everyone around me at that time, that as an energetic being, I absorbed, without even knowing what it was I was feeling. I know my family was devastated. My brother and I stayed with my Grandmother while my parents made the pilgrimage to see Kennedy lying in state, which Mom later captured… Read more.
I am a Nature fanatic! I love all the ways she calls to me to notice her magnificence. The birds (my favorites are hummingbirds, hawks, and herons), flowers (orchids and roses), trees (the dogwood and Norfolk pine), and environments (the beach) are ever present for us to experience. The seasons signal with their own specific energies. There is always something to give loving energy to. It’s fabulous! It’s as if Nature is a fashion show and it’s constantly getting all dressed up. She sparkles! Like her, I feel extra sparkly when I dress up. Getting ready to go out for… Read more.
