What’s your dream? Are you living it? Take just a moment, close your eyes and bring that dream into your mind’s eye. See it. Feel it. Really look at the details. Notice how the completion of this dream makes you feel so full of joy and elation from your success. Feels pretty good, doesn’t it?

And the best part about it is that compared to what you go through for “work” everyday, following your dream is easy. When you do what you love and love what you do, you’ll never work another day in your life.

As Martin Luther King said, “I have a dream”. And he followed it. Just like Rev. King, each of us comes here with our own dream. No one else can sing your song. No one else can dance your dance. Your dream is yours and yours alone. And what if you’re the only one given your special dream?

Let go of all of the excuses for why you’ve put your dream on hold. “I’m too old”, “My wife won’t let me”, “I don’t have the time”, or the #1 reason, “I don’t have the money”. Do what you love and not only will the money come, but doors will be opened in ways that you couldn’t possibly have planned. Try it- what do you have to lose?

Realize that you have the power to do, be or create anything in your life. Anything. The “I can’t” story playing in your head is just that- a story. Write a new one and follow your dream!

Imagine if Edison, Ford, Gates, or Helen Keller hadn’t followed their dreams? How would your personal life be different? Kind of makes you think in a whole new way.

Now once again, close your eyes and imagine the world without YOUR dream. What will the world look like if you don’t sing your song, or dance your dance? If you don’t invent that new product, or write that book, or share your knowledge, things will be different. Can you see the importance of your special dream and how it will literally affect the whole world? We’re all inner-connected. You are an important piece of a very beautiful puzzle.

Your dream is waiting for you. What are you waiting for? Your dream is showing you the path. All you have to do is follow it! Go get going and good luck on your journey!
