I have the coolest job on the planet. Each day I get to interview some of the greatest and most enlightened people in the world. I am blessed to have created a way to do this and each day I’m grateful for the opportunity to surround myself with such excellence.

About three months ago I started to write a book, combining the wisdom that I’ve learned throughout my life, along with the information shared from our Inspirational Luminaries.  Based on some of the same principles from Napolean Hill’s masterpiece, “Think and Grow Rich”, the preliminary title for my book is “Think Yourself Anything- 28 days to creating the life of your dreams”. But more about that later!
This past weekend I sat down with my husband and started to go through the exercises in the book, to see if the process worked. We did the speed version of the course and whizzed through days 1-4 on Saturday afternoon. Saturday evening we began Day 5, which is comprised of a visioning exercise. Within 20 minutes my life changed.

I’m a big dreamer, have worked with vision boards for years, yet a new world of possibility opened up in front of my eyes. In an hour of brainstorming we had the genesis of an idea that we believe will rock the world.

It’s still too early to share the nitty-gritty details, but I promise, they’re coming soon. We have one or two more ducks we have to line up first before we can present it to you.

I’m now going through the process that we all go through each time we have an idea…

1) Excitement- WOW, this is a GREAT idea!!! Woohoo!
2) Questioning- How am I going to do this? Who am I to do something this big?
3) Doubt- There’s no way I can pull of something this big, is there?
4) Faith- YES I CAN!!
5) Support- Share the idea with friends/family who support you!
6) Action- Take action and keep moving closer to the goal.

The important thing for me to remember is that these phases are a normal part of the process. It’s such a relief to know that I don’t have to know the how! For this particular project, I have the grand vision of the what, and the how is already falling into place. The Universe is lining up people and opportunities that I couldn’t imagine just two days ago!

I’m not good at keeping exciting secrets- just ask my family- so I’ll share more with you very soon! In the meantime, just know that you’re a very big part of what’s coming, and I think you’re going to be very excited too. I promise to keep you posted soon!

Thank you for being such an important part of our InspireMeToday.com family. We love and appreciate you!

  2. Dear Fana,

It’s a matter of choice and focus. Where are you spending your energy and what are you focusing on in your life? Your goals and dreams, or your problems and circumstances? You are a magnificent being with the potential to do, be or create anything you choose in your life. Where focus goes, energy flows. In other words, if you’re spending time dealing with issues that you perceive to be real and living from a state of fear, it will continue and perpetuate itself.

Instead, break the cycle, by telling yourself how grateful you are for the success in your life, even if it feels like you’re lying to yourself. Initially it may be difficult to focus on your goal and get excited about it- only because you’re changing a habit. I encourage you to feel the emotion and the Yeehaaa of your success. Your mind may be saying, “You don’t have this… you can’t to this… you’re not smart enough… etc”. IGNORE the voice. You already are a success and the only thing blocking it is you!

And it you can’t believe that you really are this amazing, please let me be your cheerleader until your belief kicks in.

Wake up each morning with gratitude. Focus on what you have that you are already grateful for. Focus on what you choose to bring into your life.

Then, if/when you notice you are being negative, don’t beat yourself up. Instead, remember who you are. It doesn’t matter that you forgot for a moment. It’s much more important that you remembered the power and the magnificence inside of you! You can create the life of your dreams- promise! I’m no different than you are. We’re all made of the same stuff.

Lastly, surround yourself with people who believe in you. Feed your spirit quality inspiration each day. We’re here at InspireMeToday.com to help you in any way that we can. Read my blogs as there are some good things there that can help you too.

As always, please feel free to write anytime. We’re always looking for ways to be of service. May you always remember the magnificence that you are. 🙂

    Hugs,

    Gail
