If you had only one thing that you could accomplish in your lifetime, what would it be? Just one thing…. not your entire bucket list. Limiting it to just one thing forces us to focus on what’s really the single, most important thing that we still want to achieve.

Perhaps it’s writing a book that will make a difference to millions, raising our children to be good adults, sailing around the world, performing on Broadway or becoming an accomplished artist. Whatever it is for you, bring it to your mind right now.

If you don’t know what that one thing is, take some time to meditate on it until you’re clear on what it is. I’m asking this question for one important reason… You can’t get somewhere if you don’t know where you’re going.

In other words, it’s nearly impossible to reach a dream that isn’t in the forefront of your mind. If you can’t dream it, think it and feel it, you can’t manifest it.

Recently I had the opportunity to ask this question to a group and was surprised with some of the responses. One woman shared that she has no idea of what her dream would be, as she’s too busy just surviving. One gentleman didn’t want to share his dream, as he “doesn’t share these type of things”.  Another woman asked me to ask her husband, as she wanted to know what his dream was- but she’d never asked him.

Interestingly enough, there’s a direct correlation to knowing what our dream is and sharing it with others and the speed at which it will manifest in our life.

Sharing allows us to get greater clarity for ourselves and also opens the doors for assistance from others and from the Universe. Sharing our dreams helps us to refine our desire and to then manifest it more quickly.

We were all given different dreams, so we don’t have to worry about competition. As I reach my dream, it doesn’t preclude you from reaching yours. In fact, when we use collaboration to assist one another to reach our dreams, it’s funny how we somehow reach our own dreams faster too.

What’s the one thing that you want to achieve, acquire or accomplish in your lifetime? Please feel free to share it below and allow the magic of the Universe to work for you to bring it about. You never know the connections and resources that are available to you, until you share it with the world.

As always, we’re here to help in any way and look forward to supporting your vision.

  1. MY Dream…!!!
I want to be successful and admired Business man. I want my company should be listed to all stock exchanges of the world.
Currently working in computer field, so love to initiate with this field and then grow in various sectors.

And one day i will do this.

  2. Nice post, Gail. It really helps to focus on one thing instead of always chasing a long list. For me, I just want to make a positive impact. I want the lives of those around me to be better because of the things that I do. That’s all that I want to accomplish. Happy Thanksgiving to you!

  3. I want to help women in need. I want to make a difference in the women’s empowerment movement in some way before I leave this earth. I want the world to understand the value of women..

  4. Every situation in our life is a doorway to either take or give. We can live a self-centered existence which is the epitome of emptiness. Or we can live a life of fullness, richness, and infinite possibilities with Love as its base. This is a choice that has to be made. Our obstacles to our choice of Love is our own mind which has been conditioned to self seek. Our problems all come from this self seeking. When the base of life is Love there is no seeking, there is just giving. When there is no seeking, the space this creates is filled will Love. So give and you shall never seek. Infinite possibilities can only arise when truth is known. Our obstacles are our illusions we create. Illusion that are created by our beliefs, our ideas. All life is a doorway but if we are marred in the ignorance of our Conditioned Mind we won’t have the awareness to step through them. There are only doorways, the obstacles we create. To have these obstacle cease to exist is what I work on each and everyday. Namaste
