Life is a wonderful journey to be embraced. Each day has the potential to uncover a new adventure if we condition our minds to look for the positives. My last words to humanity would be to love more, do more, be more, risk more…do all those positive things people said you wouldn’t be successful doing. Life is a one-way ticket. It is by experiencing every single opportunity that we find our destiny and live our best lives.

There are dreams unrealized. Goals left unchecked. Visions that have all but dissipated. However, if we still hold a kindle of fire in our hearts to do that particular thing, my dare would be to put fuel on that flame and do CPR on those dreams. Bring them forth and give them life.

Where there is faith in your Creator, there is hope. It is never too late. If you feel you are no longer in physical condition to fulfill it yourself, teach it to someone else. Yes, teach someone how it can be done. You can still realize your dreams vicariously through another person who has the same desire and passion that you had. There’s no better time to do it than now!

The late President Nelson Mandela asked, “Who are you not to be great?” We have truly cheated the world if we are not standing up to our own greatness marker. Each of us possesses the ability to live in the glory of the life we were designed to live, not just in our dreams, but as our realities. Does it take effort? Yes! Does it take consistency? Yes! Does it take determination? Most definitely, and when we partner our purpose with our passion and marry those to our efforts, we soar!

Does it work every time? Honestly, no, because sometimes we have to go back to the drawing board to perfect our plans. By applying more effort, we get it right and at just the right time we take off with a force so powerful, even we do not believe it.

With any level of success comes responsibility. We must always remember that we are obligated to reach back and bring others along. This one-way ticket is not a first class ticket to exclusivity. Oh, no…to whom much is given, much is required. Irrespective to where we are today, there is someone farther down on the ladder. With each rung we climb, we are responsible for ensuring someone else can get there as well. It is in our gift of helping others that we forge a true legacy of ourselves.

Yes, this life is a journey with a one-way ticket. Nevertheless, it is in living the life we were designed to live and by helping others that we reach our destiny, while creating a legacy that repeats itself for generations to come. Our one-way ticket becomes a new beginning for anyone traveling on behind us. Start living your best life…today!

A motherless child at the age of nine, I became a mother myself at the age of fourteen. Although the story is similar to many, I strive each day not to become a part of any negative statistic. I hold an MBA with an emphasis on business data analysis because statistics once frightened me.

My book, "[ The Well Ran Dry: Memoirs of a Motherless Child by Bullard, MS Linda Murray ( Author ) May-2013 Paperback ]" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Well Ran Dry: Memoirs of a Motherless Child" holds shelf space in the U. S. Library of Congress and the White House. I am different. Yes, I am the youngest of my parent's many children, and I am also the mother of three sons, a lovely daughter-in-love, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. I am a part of a "global community” with "Church children" and "work children" who look up to me.

In addition to all of that, I am an entrepreneur, a business strategist, a transformation speaker, and a mentor. I help people take ownership and use the power within their choices. My mantra is, “The moment you change your mind is the moment you begin to change your life.”
