Janice HollyBooth was born in British Columbia, but has lived in the U.S. since 1985. She is an award-winning non-profit CEO, a best-selling author, an international speaker, a lifelong equestrienne and full-on Adventurista. Her book, Only Pack What You Can Carry, published by National Geographic, is a guide to personal growth through solo adventure travel. Her most recent book is A Voice out of Nowhere: Inside the Mind of a Mass Murderer.
While Janice raised millions of dollars for good causes in her 20 year non-profit career, what she’s most proud of is her new work inspiring audiences around the world to step out of their ruts and into a new definition of living. In her entertaining and lively presentations, she shares some of life’s most profound epiphanies discovered the hard way over more than decade of solo travel. A self-proclaimed “klutz,” she had to overcome many fears in her quest for adventure, not the least of which was a fear of heights and the edge. But the edge is exactly what she committed to exploring and in doing so learned some important lessons that transformed not just her life but the way she lives it.
Janice currently lives in North Carolina where – between adventures -- she is working on a new book.
