  1. I love this quote since it strikes at the heart of everything, from joy to despair. As a baby we did not know anything other than simply being – ME! Totally present and living out loud! In time we learned, “Being me is not always acceptable.” So, unconsciously we started to adapt to perceived expectations. This was met with ‘rewards,’ and then we adopted the adaptions as our way of being. In time you lost YOU and I lost ME! Getting back to ME, owning ME, feeling ME, accepting ME without judgement, becomes the challenge. Unfortunately, many of us slumber through life disconnected, in pain and suffering, and reactive to the circumstances that disrupt our contentment. What a loss to ME and to the world!
