If you can dream it, you can do it!
I want to be a policeman when I grow up. My sister Shandi wants to be a teacher. Even though I am only 7 and my sister is 3, we are dreaming big. It does not matter if we change our dreams over and over again. If you can dream it and set a goal you can do it! If you want to be the president of the United States of America, you can do it!
Our mommy and daddy give us a ton of encouragement everyday which helps us in school and when we have to set an example to others. We share the things that our mommy and daddy teach us with others kids.
For example:
- If you only have a little of something, always share.
I always share my toys with my sister. If she wants to play a game but does not know how, it is my job to teach her! - Be kind to others.
Something so simple like opening the door for someone can make someone’s day! - Always help out in any way.
My sister and I help bring groceries in the house when we come back from the store. - If you see another kid doing something that is wrong, tell them.
They might not know it, but they will appreciate it in the end. - If someone does something that is good, tell them!
When my schoolmates get a good grade in class, I always tell them, “Good Job!” - If someone is feeling down, try to lift their spirits and show them encouragement.
When my sister Shandi crys, I am always there to pick her up and give her lots of hugs!
Being a kid is fun. But don’t let it stop you from doing the important stuff like riding your bike through the mud, playing outside and geting dirty, and eating ice cream and letting it drip all down your face!
Being a kid is also a learning process. That is why it is always good to listen to mommy and daddy because they always know what is best. If you listen and try to do what is right, good things will come.
For me, I am a little guy but there always seems to come a time when I have to stand tall and set an example. This is important to me because I am a big brother. My sister watches my every move, so I have to make sure I am doing right instead of wrong. This is important for all the big brothers and big sisters out there in the world.
Remember, it does not matter if you are short or tall, big or small. You can do it! Put your mind to it and do it!
