Grace Hatton is an eighteen year old British teenager who has lived on two continents, travelled on mission trips to South Africa, won international writing awards and wrote her first full length novel at age fourteen. Grace is also the teen author of the new best-selling book “The Guys The Roses & The Regrets; The Girl to Girl Dating Guide” ’
At age eighteen Grace has truly lived a full life. Born and raised in the red light district of her home town Leeds, UK, Grace grew up in a home that doubled as a rehabilitation center for ex drug addicts and ex prostitutes. This rehab center was run by her parents Les and Wendy Hatton who had been inner city ministers for over 15 years. At the age of 12 Grace’s parents made the decision to make a better life for themselves and move to the United States.
The immigration process due to the aftermath of September 11th was a hard one but finally in 2007 Grace and her family received their green cards! In 2008 Grace felt called to give back and wanted to do her part to change the world so for a month Grace went on a mission trip to South Africa where she worked in squatter camps and schools. Grace taught in the schools, teaching English and talking to girls her own age about the value of purity. In the squatter camps Grace worked with her team to build shacks, run kids programs, provide clean clothing and food for those in need. Grace plans to go on many more missions.
Grace has been featured on numerous radio shows and was recently featured in Women of Wisdom Performance Magazine along side Michelle Obama. “The Guys The Roses & The Regrets” is Grace’s first book to be published but it as already received wide acclaim, endorsed by Mark Victor Hansen (Chicken Soup for the Soul) “The Guys The Roses & The Regrets” soared to number #31 on Amazons Top 100 bestseller list.
