Happiness is knowing you’ve made a difference in someone’s life.
Watching your child say their first word or take their first step.
The first time they say “mama” or “dada” brings an instant smile to your face.
Waking up to the sunrise and knowing that today is a new day.
Having no physical or emotional pain.
Being with the person or people who love you. Letting them know that they are loved and cared about in return.
Dancing in the rain….or walking in the rain with someone who loves you. Not caring that you are soaked to the skin or that now you have to peel your drenched clothes off.
The sand between your toes when you walk or sit on the beach. Collecting shells with your kids and seeing their faces when they put the shell up to their ear and tell you they hear the ocean.
Appreciating the little things in life; being thankful for what you have, not complaining about what you don’t have.
Having someone appreciate something you did or said for them. A simple “thank you” is all it takes! Seeing inner beauty; what a person is like on the outside mattering more than outward physical appearance. This is only a small example of things that personify happiness.
See how easy it is to list the things that create happiness in life? Just write down one thing every day that makes you happy or thankful. It can be in a notebook or a journal if you have one. Are you ready to transform your life?
