Live, Laugh, Love! My message to the world is to just chill! We get so caught up in things that we think matter and forget the beauty of going through life with Grace and Ease. When we trust and let our Higher Power work his magic, life is a better place.
Remember each day to take a big drink of positive mental protein when you are thirsty. Read and listen to positive messages. Read things that expand your mind and empower you. Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you. Today, go find something that will make you say “Wow”! Life isn’t about the mundane things that we spend so much time worrying about, but rather, it’s about the “Heck Yeah”, “High Five” and “Woo Hoo” moments!
Don’t forget that your body is an important part of who you are too. Take care of it with regular exercise. When you are stressed, instead of complaining, go to the gym. Spend time moving your bones. Take a long walk or a jog. There are days when I too want to make excuses, but I feel much better when I get my bones moving and my blood flowing. Exercise has been proven to do such magical things as improve memory and alleviate pain, both physical and mental. So, when you are feeling a bit blah, get those endorphins going!
Most importantly, listen. God gave each one of us two ears and one mouth- and this was for a reason. Think before you talk and act. Run your life with a philosophy of treating others the way you would want to be treated yourself. I use these principles in my business and in coaching my daughter’s travel softball team and it creates positive results. Run your personal life and business affairs this way, as it will truly lead you to the land of abundance, peacefulness and happiness.
Do your best each day, knowing that none of us are perfect. Don’t beat yourself up over things that happened in the past. Instead of looking behind, spent your time and energy looking ahead with enthusiasm.
Remember, that people love praise. If you find yourself ready to criticize something or someone, take two deep breaths and find something to compliment instead. If you find yourself in a negative situation, close your eyes and think about how you can turn it into a positive experience. If you really think about it, this can be done by simply remembering the difference between right and wrong.
Each day, do a good deed for someone else. Start with a little one….Go pick up a piece of trash that somebody threw in the parking lot. Don’t think or worry about why it is there, Just Do It! Go help feed and serve a homeless person. Go to the Children’s Hospital and be a volunteer….and the list goes on and on. Yesterday, you said tomorrow. Today is that day so seize this moment, be grateful and express your gratitude.
Above all, remember to LIVE, LAUGH, and LOVE!
Peace, Jon
