Robin Craig

Native Houstonian Robin Craig was in the National Honor Society and graduated from high school magna cum laude. She studied business administration and communications at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, and later graduated from Columbia School of Broadcasting. Robin worked as a radio Deejay and television Veejay on a live national music video station before moving to Nashville, Tennessee, where she hosted three local television shows, appeared in TV commercials and music videos and sang back-up on Music Row. She also worked as a Casting Director, Location Scout and Location Manager for film and television in Nashville and continued that work upon her return to Houston. From 2001-2008, Robin worked as Producer and Coordinating Producer for Texas Justice, Judge Alex and Cristina's Court, three nationally syndicated court TV shows owned by Twentieth Television, a division of Fox. She won three consecutive national daytime Emmys, the highest award presented in television, in 2008, 2009 and 2010, in the category "Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program." Robin is also a writer and motivational speaker who authors the Today's Widow segment on-line for the Hearst Corporation's Houston Chronicle and hosts Robin Craig LIVE, a weekly web TV show, on the Mingle Media Television Network. Robin became widowed in 2005 and discovered her life's mission through her misfortune. Robin is working to help her fellow widows and bring attention to the plight of those who have lost a spouse. She offers enlightenment, encouragement and empowerment to all who have suffered a close loss and Robin encourages everyone to create a great life despite adversity.
