You CAN Have It All!

If I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I'd want to pass along to others...

  • Figure out what you really want out of life. All the money in the world doesn’t mean anything without making an impact on people. Reach as many people around the world as possible, and don’t think that there’s anything holding you back from doing everything you want to do. You can make an impact.

Decide who you love and who loves you, and surround yourself with them. Be loyal to your tribe and live team life. Love your friends, your family and your work team. Take care of your loved ones, and they will take care of you. Structure your schedule to make time for them often and don’t be afraid to ask for their help when you truly need it.

Understand that time is your biggest resource. Travel the world, raise a family, start a company, change lives. Just go. You might not make it home for dinner every night at 6 pm, but if your job allows you to do something truly memorable with your family on the weekends, it’s worth it. Life is all about the experiences we have with our loved ones, and the time you spend together sticks.

You CAN do it all. If you learn to contribute differently, and not the same way as everyone else, that’s what makes you stand out. Want to run three brands and be a single mom? There’s a way. The question is: what are you willing to do to get there? If you want it badly enough you’ll know what you need to do to achieve your goals. Make the commitment to yourself and do whatever it takes to succeed.

Finally, work hard every day and encourage those around you to do the same. Be an inspiration with discipline and enthusiasm. Your team is vital to your mission in accomplishing everything, so learn to trust them and delegate responsibilities. Know their strengths and celebrate both professional and personal successes with them. When there are obstacles, help your team see them as opportunities to improve. Take these experiences with you as you go and share what you have learned with others.
Don’t let it occur to you that you can’t do something. You can accomplish anything in this life, but you only have so much time. Figure out what you want out of life and ask yourself, “Why not me?”

In 2010, as Kelly Hager’s real estate company, The Kelly Hager Group Real Estate Services, gained recognition and Kelly established herself as the St. Louis area's real estate expert, an unexpected illness threatened what had become her life's passion. Despite the circumstances, Kelly battled through extensive therapy and recovered, determined to see past what she had experienced and to focus on what she could make of the future; namely taking care of her son and creating a thriving and unique real estate company. The Kelly Hager Group boasts an executive leadership team of all women. Kelly views her team members not only as a collaborative, innovative team, but also as individual entrepreneurs.
