One of the most fun things in life is when we get to take our clothes off, is it not? Another of the most fun things in life is when we get to put clothes on because it means something…is…happening!
Life is about stripping bare and building up, in a constant repeating oscillation. Rarely are we in a full monty or a full dress-up in life, right? The trick while in this grey area is to keep the enthusiasm of the pure strip and the high regalia, while walking the normal path of life what EVER that is for you.
Life, stripped down to the essence, is being completely open with gratitude for the energy of beingness that is noncausally joyful, peaceful, and contented. Yet, life also is being dressed up to our full potential ripeness and maturity, dancing the details of the fullness of family and creative service. This is why there is rapture in the regular. In that very regular moment, there exists the manifestation of a destiny that is given specifically to each of us; if we let it, it brings our mundane experience of self into identification with the Unlimited All That Is.
I am astounded over and over by how much of life is unconscious for most people, myself included. It seems that the reason so much is unconscious is because of how much essence-energy we can handle. We handle essence-energy differently from how we “handle” strain, hardship, stress, or any of the other connotations of “handling” something that connotes either a macho or a stoic nature. Handling essence energy is about being open to receive in order to share.
Essence energy is a current that can get constricted, as the palm of one’s hand becomes squeezed shut. Truly being open, or what is popularly called relaxed, is about opening up the current so that it can flow naturally. For me, the basis of what works to open up the current and let it be handled in my life is Gabriel Cousens’ Six Foundations for Spiritual Nutrition, which, by increasing our ability to handle the current well, enable what is unconscious to potentially become conscious.
What works for you?
