On April 1st, 1982, I went through the windshield of an automobile. Almost a month later, I walked out of the hospital on my own. Blind. From that day on, since my vision was gone, I’ve had to learn to use my mental vision. Here’s what I’ve learned.
As a person thinks in their mind, so will they be.
Take that one message and learn it, consume it, memorize it, adopted it. Make it a habitual part of your every day life, and you can change yourself and the world that you live in. Every thing that you and I are and will ever be or want to be starts with a thought. Look at it this way. If you keep on thinking what you’ve always thought, you will keep on getting what you’ve already got.
People say that things like this don’t work. But, stop and think about that one statement. As long as you think that way and keep on repeating it to yourself, then that is exactly what you are going to get, because we think and talk in word pictures.
Like when we tell someone DON’T do something. Don’t leave the yard, don’t leave the house, don’t leave your room, don’t take those keys on the table. Now take away the word “don’t” , because we can’t picture a “don’t”, and what do you have left? Only the command- leave the yard, leave the house, leave your room, take those keys on the table.
There is no word picture for the word, “DON’T.” You may say “I want to be debt free”. So what are you going to get? That’s right. DEBT. But you say, “I want to be out of debt”. It doesn’t matter if you want in or out of debt, debt is what you are going to get.
So, then you might ask, “Well, what do I say and think then?” I recommend you say, “I want to be financially free” or “I want to be wealthy”. Think and see yourself as already being healthy, wealthy, or any thing that you put your mind to.
We’re already doing this all of the time. But, we never really stop and think about it in that way. So, if we’re already doing it, why not do it in away that will help us be, have and do what it is that we really want? It’s up to you and no one else.
