Through trial and error I’ve learned these two things: It is important to become aware of who you really are and acknowledge your spiritual roots. And, it is also important that you honor your physical body for what it is – a gift made of miracles.

As we journey toward greater awareness there are many opportunities to find unconditional love and acceptance. Learning to recognize and accept your opportunities for them becomes your spiritual journey. When you find the unconditional love you seek, you also find your pathway to your authentic self which is your divine inner nature.

The love that is shared by humanity with humanity is but a small portion of the love that is available to us. We share the unconditional love of creation, which is a bountiful cornucopia of possible love experiences.

The love within strengthens our innate connection to spirit. Our strong connection and love become our vehicles to increased knowing. Therefore, the love within is a unique, felt sensory process that expands our consciousness and allows mankind to become a more humane species.

Within my understanding, this means that all life-forms have a spark of divine love placed containing a level of consciousness suitable for their life needs. All species, plant, animal, amphibian, are made of cells and each cell has its own intelligence as does each organ and organ system. We have underestimated the intelligence and conscious awareness of other forms of life, their ability to feel, sense, and in some cases form family, community and society. We have underestimated the value of their presence and the reasons they are a part of the web of life on planet Earth.

When we don’t acknowledge and embrace the inner spark of love within, life can be bleak and often violent. When we allow the spark within to light our life, when we open our arms to love, life suddenly becomes a magic carpet ride of joy and thankfulness.

The word love is a large container. It holds within it many ways to express unconditional love. Unconditional love is often defined by what some philosophers call heart virtues, and there are multitude of them: kindness, compassion, tenderness, acceptance, friendship, companionship, gentleness are just a few. As we embrace the heart virtues, we become increasingly more loving. Our spark of life grows into a blaze, and we see life in a way that allows all the love we share to almost magnetically find its way back to us.

I leave you with this thought. Whatever it takes, however long it takes, learn your worth and accept your divine inner nature. Wherever and whenever there is unconditional love, there is infinite acceptance that flows to you, through you, from you, and back to you again and again.
