When was the last time you just called or emailed to tell someone, Thank You, I Love You, I Appreciate You, just because, and for one other reason?
In today’s day and age of the world of technology and internet, we often forget and take for granted the people around us, who support us. I write a lot about Paying it Forward and The Ripple Effect. Think about this.
Imagine if every boss, friend, mother, father, said Thank You, anytime you did something that supported them or helped them in any way. Imagine what a society we would have, if we all took the time to tell one another, Thank You, I Love You, You Are Appreciated….
Even within the walls of technology and social media, take the time to post I Appreciate You, Thank You, Thank You for the Friendship, Thank You for Sharing My Post.
I can’t tell you how many times I have gotten emails of Thank You, for me saying Thank You. Emails like… Thank You Soooo much I so needed to hear that. See that, what perfect timing. We never know what someone needs in any given moment. That one Thank You you give out in that very moment could be the very Thank You they needed in that very moment. Another post I love to tweet out is You are… There are so many ways to create fun easy graphics, hand made cards, homemade gifts, with messages of Love, Worth, Empowerment and Inspiration.
What is something you are passionate about? A hobby, perhaps. Maybe you like to take pictures. You can send a picture with a little note that says Just Thinking of You… Get creative with your passions, and find ways to inspire and empower others.
Remember on some level we are all interconnected, so enjoy the Journey and color your world with your creativity and Passions.

I call my family every day and I try to call my friends at least 1 time in the week.
Good for You Barbara… Family is so important, Thanks for sharing
What you say is so true. It is so easy to forget to thank others for the good they have done because we get so caught up in our own stuff. However simple thank you means a lot to those who you appreciate. We all need to remember to do it if someone does something nice for us.
So absolutely True Miriam, Thanks for sharing with us. Enjoy the journey
It’s easy to take people for granted. Taking time to say thanks or just say hi can make someone’s day… and will definitely make yours!
Very True Lynn, it most certainly does make our days awesome when we say Hi or Thanks to others… It makes us feel as good as it does others so why not do it. Thanks for sharing
I call my mom regularly – she lives 2000 miles away and it’s nice to just be able to talk to her sometimes. I do need to call my grandmother more often, though.
That is great Alicia family is so important especially if you are close with them. Have a fabulous weekend
That’s a nice reminder, Carly!
Thanks Dianna, an important one too many people forget how important a Simple Thank You can change someone’s life. Enjoy your new week.
We get in such a hurry each week, I’ll often be reminded to connect while sending and receiving our Follow Friday tweets. Not that those tweets are the connection, they can remind us that it’s time to step back and be human.
Yes Brian I agree Twitter is a great place for being reminded of Oh Yeah need to reconnect with… Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, have a great week
or the last time you wrote a thank you note, or had your child write a thank you note (or email :)) to someone for a birthday present? My Mother had me write thank you notes whenever someone gave something to me or did something for me. I thank her for that because, if she had not taken the time to teach me to be grateful to others for their kindness, I think I would take these things for granted. Because she made thanking others a habit for me, I notice more things to be grateful for.
Thanks for sharing Bordersdmd yes Your mom gave you a great gift indeed – Gratitude
