Betty Hawley Scott is a retired public school counselor with seventeen years experience in education and counseling.
Betty strives to serve and obey God with the leading of the Holy Spirit. She desires to help others who have experienced emotional abuse in their lives through prayer, personal counseling, writing, and events.
Her knowledge and understanding is a result of close communion with God, experience and observations of life events, and earning a Masters Degree in Education in Guidance and Counseling from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas.
As a board member for HOST (Helps Others by Serving Together), Betty Hawley Scott is more than involved in making her community a better place. Having previously been through psychological abuse in past relationships, Scott is telling all in her new book – “The Time Will Come.” From her personal stories, Scott hopes to encourage others that have been where she was. Now residing in Austin, Texas, Scott enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
