“I used to think I was a great parent, before my 3 kids became teenagers. There are days when I don’t know who these kids are, and I’m embarrassed to admit that some days I wish I’d never had children…. Suggestions?” ~ Marie, El Paso, TX
Hey, I get it. I am a mom of two myself and there are days when I wish I was living alone again.
But it is the resistance and the non-acceptance of the situation that makes it worse for us. We do have to accept that we are parents and we made this decision to do this thing called parenting. We also have to remember that from a Law of Attraction perspective that we are creating our reality.
So, if we want things to change, we can’t change other people or their behavior. Everything is a direct reflection of what is going on within us. So if there is drama in the family or with the children, it is because there is negative emotions within us.
When we align ourselves with the Divine within and are aware of what we are giving out to the Universe in our thoughts, words and behaviors and we control only that what we can, which is ourselves and our vibration, then we see a change in the children that are in our lives.
