Do you remember the last time you were inspired? Really inspired? Do you remember the energy in each molecule of your body that felt like you were dancing even if you were standing still? Maybe it was from a rousing sermon from your favorite minister, from a piece of music, perhaps from a motivational speaker or maybe just watching a sunset and realizing your connection to the Universe. Inspiration comes in many forms, but no matter the form, it’s something that’s as important to us as breathing. Inspiration is an integral part of life and something we need on a daily basis. Just like you wake up in the morning and feed your body, your spirit has needs too.

Inspire Me!
Inspire Me!

According to Webster, to inspire is “to influence, move, or guide by divine inspiration”. Webster continues to say that inspiration is “the drawing of air into the lungs”. How interesting is that? In other words, inspire doesn’t become inspiration until we breathe it in! It’s something that we need, just like we need air. When you consider that adults breathe between 18,000-30,000 times each day, that’s a lot of inspiration!

But, are we paying attention and looking for the inspiration in our lives? If we have to breathe it in for it to make a difference, perhaps we should make a conscious choice to pay attention and see how inspiration can make a difference. If you’re looking for something it will show up.

I have always been a seeker of information, especially that of a spiritual or motivational nature. I discovered that on mornings that I went to the gym with something motivational or educational, my entire day went better. Interestingly enough, I discovered that my daily performance was directly tied to the level of my morning inspiration! And on that morning, our website, Inspire Me Today™ was born. We believe if you breathe it in and make inspiration a regular part of your day, each and every day, “regular” lives become magical overnight.

Inspiration can be found in anything. Go look for the magic in your life. Expect it to show up and it will. We’re all heard about the Law of Attraction. What you think about your bring about. Just for fun “homework”, think about something that you’d like to bring into your life now. If it’s easier for you to believe, choose something small.  Perhaps it’s finding something that’s been lost, maybe receiving a letter from an old friend. Whatever you choose, focus on it and see it as already done. Feel the “yeehaaa” emotion and joy that this will bring to you. I did this with bringing a cup of tea into my life and with having an old friend call, and both happened within 15 minutes!

Welcome inspiration into your life to help you remember that you, and you alone, have the power to do, be or create anything in your life that you desire. Anything. Your power is unlimited. Your wildest dreams are attainable. There is magic in belief, promise in faith and delivery in action. You were born to fly, and all you need is a little inspiration. And I just happen to know of a place where you can get a healthy dose of it each and every morning. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
