There are many things to learn. As we get older, we see how these lessons impact us, the lives of those around us, and the world we inhabit. Here are a few things I have learned in my life:
1. All forms of life are equal. This is not an optimistic hope or an idealistic dream, but the knowingness uncovered from experiencing consciousness beyond the individual mind.
2. The secret to a fulfilling life is to seek and live out your karma, aligning your personality with the inherent wisdom of the soul. Strange as it might seem – you already know.
3. Awareness is what you are, yet who you are is a soul.
4. When duality and non-duality are let go, the authentic reality of the soul appears.
5. Death exists, but not in all dimensions of being.
6. Keep letting go. Don’t ever stop letting go. When you let go, you grow.
7. The divine is in you, as you are in the divine.
8. Fear is mind-based, whereas love is the only abiding truth.
9. Miracles are not only possible but natural.
10. You are no greater or lesser than any other.
11. Until we authentically realize our oneness, humankind will continue to commit atrocities. In taking the life of another, we are expounding the cancer of fear which stops us from knowing and experiencing the love we truly are.
12. It is possible to hear and see in many ways, and in multi-dimensions.
13. You are a soul. Each soul is unique and yet paradoxically, the same.
14. Our one true self is awareness.
15. The mind is a powerful tool for good, while at the same time your greatest potential enemy.
16. When the mind’s patterning wants to take you away from love, kindness, compassion and forgiveness, then learn to say no.
17. It’s not what you do in life – it’s whether it’s a soulful contribution which counts. Doing something without being true to yourself only creates shadows and confusion. Doing what you truly love inspires and moves others to do the same.
18. Material things don’t matter. Only love matters. How do you express it?
19. Remembering to look, listen and follow for the wisdom of your Soul matters – in today’s world we are too easily distracted and often lose our way.
20. Don’t follow another because they’re popular, rich, beautiful or famous. Look, learn and take on board the lessons you need to learn so that you can begin to live authentically. If you live authentically, you will be sharing and contributing to the evolution of human consciousness, and you will be fulfilled and at peace with the world.
21. Don’t do everything for your own sake. Do it for the whole of life. When you do this, magic happens, for as we give, we grow.
22. Freedom is your goal, your nature and your birthright.

You the reader are a conduit for the evolution of consciousness.
You are the answer.
You are the soul-ution!

  1. Very thought provoking and many truths…if only more people lived by some of these words of wisdom…thanks for sharing!

  2. I totally agree with you on the concept of Karma. We all have to face the consequence of our Karma, and no once can escape from it. Your thoughts highly resonate with my life and I would like to thank you for that.

    1. Hi Jenna, and thanks for commenting. We often overlook the life principle of karma. If we treat others as we’d like to be treated, the world would doubtless be a better place.
It’s a huge topic, but I always recall the words of Wayne Dyer “How you treat people is your karma; how you react is yours.”

  3. If we know what we want in the depths of our soul, we can spread real positivity in our life. BTW, I love your website.

    1. Thanks Eva. The Soul knows, we just need to reconnect with that wisdom to actualize it in the world. Imagine….

  4. I’m really inspired by your thoughts, and motivated by the idea that each of us could really make a difference. What can I do to get to that place?

    1. Thanks for connecting Freddy. ‘That place’ as you describe it is already here in you now, the living presence of awakening. Be still, and listen to your deepest wisdom. You don’t need to go anywhere or find anyone else. Your deepest intuition is the key. You can do far more than you imagine. The Soul encourages you to share all you are, manifesting possibilities which seem out of reach and impossible. It is the catalyst for CHANGE and the forgotten principle of humankind.

  5. Thank you JM, for sharing your insight. Doing what you love truly is the best example. Doing something without engaging your heart and soul is a waste of time and energy.

    1. Thanks for your words Linus. Yes, I sense that doing what you really Love comes from an authentic connection with the Soul. If you truly Love what you do, then you will be sharing what you came here for….. and you won’t mind putting in the time and effort to make that come true.

  6. I really enjoyed this brilliance, so thanks for sharing your soul! In this busy and artificial life people have become more and more materialistic, surrounding themselves with the so-called luxuries of life. In the end we realise that all those things don’t matter one ‘lil bit.

    1. Thanks Olivia. Yes, we’ve forgotten or overlooked what’s really important. Things don’t matter and they don’t provide lasting fulfillment. If we can seek and find the authenticity of the Soul, it cannot be let go – – – because it’s not an idea or a thing, but the catalyst for being who you truly are.

  7. Hi Jonathan, This resonates at a deep level…beautiful and inspiring…as ever 🙂 Thanks for sharing your insights.

    1. Thanks for coming along …. my intuition tells me we may have met before… lol! – I appreciate your kind words of support, thank you!

  8. Hi Jonathan, a special thank from France for your thoughts, I hope the whole world without distinction will get inspire and follow and hear their soul… all the best

  9. Bonsoir Séverine! We all send our love to France – in the light of the November terrorist attacks in Paris. The solution to war is the love of peace.
La solution à la guerre est l’ amour de la paix ….

  10. I love the line. “The divine is in you, as you are in the divine.” It stayed with me all day. Stephanie

    1. Hi Stephanie – thanks for visiting and taking the time to comment. Yes, it’s one of those illogical paradoxes. The mind can’t grasp it, and yet we can sense the truth in the statement…

  11. Thank you for those words of wisdom and love, i feel these thoughts and ideas would help and be appreciated by young adults, such as myself, in this world.
Please carry on sharing your knowledge as i find it healing and it, personally, will help me grow.

    1. Thanks Holly! Don’t be led by anyone. Keep close to your inner wisdom, it will help and guide you throughout your life, and take you to extraordinary places your mind cannot possibly imagine.

  12. Thank you for this reminder of how mysterious life is and how it is up to us to find out and explore more while we’re here.

  13. Point number 21 is the motto of my life. I have learned that if you genuinely give to people, you will get to receive in return. This is the rule of karma. Awesome list – thanks.

  14. Thanks Kyle. Sounds like you’re already following your inner wisdom, in which case, whatever happens next will be what you need, and will take you where you need to be to learn and grow. All best wishes.

  15. Thanks CM – – nothing ‘new’ here, just reminders of the authentic presence of the soul – – shared to give support and momentum. Have a great day!

  16. Thank you for these beautiful words and sentiments Jonathan, never more needed than at this time of unprecedented social, political and environmental upheaval and change. With my love and thanks.

    1. Hi Michael, and thanks for stopping by. Yes, if we can all do our little bit, we will be contributing to the changes we so need to see in the world. We can do so much, but together, we can do so much more…..
