The Fine Line of Truth

There is a biblical passage that says…”Straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads unto life and few there be who find it.”

It causes a person (or it should) to seriously think about its deep and rich meaning, and the wonderful effect that it can have for you. Truth is truth regardless of facts and it’s important to know, that the facts are always changing. We have been taught to live our lives based on facts without realizing that facts are only facts until we become aware of another fact that supersedes the previous.

Because we are spiritual beings first, we should understand that our true, core self (our spirit) is rooted in truth. We were created out of truth. Our bodies, however, can deceive us because our consciousness, as it evolves, is highly filtered by our perception. Our physical senses are also very limited in the scope of what information they can take in. The instruments we create to see, hear and feel beyond our physical capabilities have limits on them as well. When we create a tool that allows us to see, weigh or measure something beyond our current capabilities, the facts as we know them change, but will change again when capabilities expand further.

In the world we live in currently, people – some of who are experts in their respective fields – are telling us our world is full of lack. There hardly seems to be enough of anything today. Some people will tell you that because of this, the end of the world is near. It’s hard to dispute their facts because so many ‘experts’ are saying the same thing. However, the mere fact that many are saying the same thing doesn’t make it the truth either.

So why would our creator place us in a world with fear and limitation? Why would a loving God want people to mentally suffer with all of these problems? It would almost seem sadistic; wouldn’t it? The truth is, a Loving God would provide a way for you to follow God’s truth, if you are open to that. Some basic truths to weigh everything by are:

  1. “The truth will set you free.” Anything that inhibits you, or binds you, or puts you in fear and reaction, is not the truth – it’s a lie.
  2. There is only abundance. Abundance is abundance and the more you think about it and experience it, the more you will become aware of the beauty that really is. By the way, it’s functional too – not just a nice thought.
  3. Then, there is the Law of Polarity which states everything has an opposite in the physical world. This will help you focus your mind on the good and not the perceived bad. If you perceive something as bad, it must also be good. If it’s really bad, it must also be really good. It has to be, because you can’t have one side of something without the other. You don’t need to fix the bad either, just focus on the good side and more will manifest.

Remember, you are here to express the glory of God and the Universe, so have a lot of fun and let the Universe do its job.
