We are inherently spiritual in nature and all connected at higher levels of consciousness. As spiritual beings, we operate on multiple levels of higher consciousness simultaneously, but our physical senses create the illusions of individuality and of only the physical universe existing. Because we are connected spiritually, in your interactions with others always keep in mind that superficial differences like skin color, race, religion and nationality are insignificant.

When you acknowledge your deeper spiritual connections with others, your compassion and love for others and yourself will deepen. The reason we are connected to others spiritually is because consciousness is imbued with the same cohesive and adhesive properties of water. Just as the cohesive and adhesive properties of water create seamless ponds, lakes and vast oceans in which the individual droplets cannot be identified, at the physical level the same unifying properties of consciousness draw people to each other into couples, communities and societies.

Love is the face of the soul. And the soul is the embryonic seed of consciousness. Like love, consciousness is a unifying force and the soul is the most unified form of consciousness. Therefore, each of us to varying degrees seeks to love and to be loved. Each day express love for any other sentient being and yourself.

The path of spirituality is paved with silence. Do not fear silence. Silence is not empty. Silence overflows with spirituality. Indeed, silence, reflection, love and humility are the most precious offerings on the sacred altar of the soul.

The spirituality in life reflects the spirituality in death. Physical death is a milestone on the evolution of the spirit. Embrace the milestone of death rather than fear it. The death of the physical body merely transitions consciousness to enable full awareness of the spiritual realm. Death is the homecoming of the spirit. Consciousness is all you will take with you when your physical body dies.

Death and taxes are not the only certainties in life as many people believe. Grief is the third certainty. Grief is a spiritual wound. Each of us will experience grief when a partner’s, a family member’s, a friend’s or even a pet’s physical body dies. The power of grief comes from the power of love. Take comfort knowing that when a loved one’s physical body dies you remain connected with them at higher levels of consciousness. While death is a transformation of consciousness for the dying, grief is an opportunity for spiritual transformation of the living. Therefore, embrace your grief for spiritual healing and transformation.

Dreams feed the soul. Be persistent in the pursuit of your dreams. And dream boldly. Anything that can be dreamed can be achieved through thoughtful persistence. Do not be deterred by those who cannot conceive of your dreams as you do or who try to impede you in the pursuit of your dreams. When you dream you access higher levels of consciousness.

Finally, in life always strive to deepen your spirituality whatever form that takes. The more you deepen your spirituality, the more you reveal your soul. When you embrace your soul at the core of your being, you embrace all other beings in the vast limitless universe with its infinite possibilities.
